Why I shouldn’t be alone.

…after working a double. while drinking a few beers to wind down. because I’m pissed that some people in this little world have the hardest time meeting newspaper deadlines.

Just Not Feeling it

Crap. I hit a wall. I just haven’t felt inspired to write this week. It might have something to do with poor ole blogging being at the bottom of the lengthy to-do list. Yep, school is most definitely back in session. But guess what! I graduate in May, I graduate May (said in sing-song, of course!) Wait. What? There is an “I’m not ready for the real world” freak out commencing now!

 

Diversion.

By the way, I went to Best Buy to play around with the cameras I mentioned in this post. I also looked at the Nikons. I am almost positive that I’m going with Cannon’s T2i.

Give Me a Break

Oh the agony! I have writer’s block. Hmmmm, could it be because I actually have TONS of writing to do? Two very large papers plus a few more assignments need to get done during this “break”. Ha ha, what a joke! No, I suppose it is a break after all; I don’t have class or work, right? But still, I’m going to sit in front of my computer all week working my brain to nothing.

I feel this is appropriate: “Give me a break…Give me a break…Break me off a piece of that…”

 

Man, I see where this post is going. No where.

Oh well, let’s journey on.

So, I have entered the world of fancy phones. New owner of iPhone4 here. Apple savvy ladies and gentlemen are more than welcome to help a chica out. What should I know about this funky little device?

That’s what I am, Reader-Friends! One very dear Reader-Friend made me feel so yesterday by presenting me with the sweet award below!

Here are my three random facts:

1. I can’t stand in front of the bathroom mirror while I brush my teeth. How’s that for random? I don’t know why, I just have to wander while I brush. Sometimes I will walk out to the living room, sometimes I will stand in front of the t.v., I just cant stand in the bathroom. Maybe it has to do with the tingly feeling the toothpaste puts in your mouth…it just makes me move! ( I always make it back to the sink to spit, by the way!)

2. I’m a teacher’s pet. I have always been a favorite with my teachers, but I don’t intentionally suck up. I am not trying to get a good great or any kind of special benefits, I just want to get to know them. I have always been drawn to people that seem wise. I like to talk to them and hang out with them. I should probably enjoy being young, but there is just something desirable in experience to me, and I always want to find out what it is!

3. My dream destination is Ireland. My heritage is strongly rooted in all that is green. I am so fascinated by everything Irish: art, music, literature, architecture…I can just picture myself sitting in some ruins on the cliffy shore, being inspired by all kinds of wonderful and breathtaking scenery. Just look at it!

Lazy Pinning

Fabulous Friday to you, Reader-Friends!

I’m feeling a tad bit lazy today. This is most likely due to today being the very last Friday of my summer, which technically only started a week ago, thanks to having summer classes for months!

Sadly, No. No, I can’t, because I have errands to run and a daddy-o to get bring home from the hospital! Yay! If you are catching up around here, my daddy has been in the hospital for about two weeks with a terrible infection from his rupture surgery. The doctors actually nicked his colon in the process, which brought about said complications. Anyway, he is bringing home all his tubes and what-nots, so we are going to have a home nurse popping in. My mama, actually would have preferred that Daddy had chose to stay in the hospital (that was an option), so he could have 24-hour care and she could be at work less stressed. But leave it up to a man to be stubborn, right?

 

Anyway, as you can tell, I have a lot on my mind, so I’m giving up on looking for my creative juices. Instead, I’m going to share some of my great finds from Pinterest.
