Christmas came like a Winter Snow!

Hi Friends! I hope every one's Christmas was wonderful! Despite a random and dramatic family episodes(guess it's inevitable every one in a few holidays), my celebration of a wonderful Savior was wonderful itself! I started on Thursday with "Our" <that is, Jon and my> Christmas. I decorated my parent's dinning room, cooked his favorite meal, and played some soft Christmas tunes from the glorious Pandora website. I recommend this free Internet radio site for the officer dweller, the college student in need of some brain stimulation, or any general lover of music.
Here are some pictures of the Thursday night...
The dollar tree is MY friend! :)

Candy Cane Hearts on each plate :)

All lit up :)
Entree: A Mountain of Chicken Brushetta and Cream Corn
Dessert: Jell-O (Jon LOVES Jell-O) topped with whipped cream and green sprinkles!
PRESENTS!
Jonathan opening a piece of artwork for his apartment...His old roommate was an art major and when he moved out the walls became bare.
The fire pit I got for Jon...I am very excited about this present..It's for HIM, I promise :)
What a BEAUTIFUL Thomas Kinkade card Jon gave me! The house lit up! If you know me, you know cards are one my very favorite things!
A VERY HAPPY ENGLISH/LITERATURE MAJOR! This sweet little gadget called a Kindle is going to save me some moo-lah on print and my back from hauling ten tons of text! Thank you, SWEET man!
Jon and Me saying our thank yous to each other. (Lord, look at that hot pink hair...Going to be fun to look back on these days in a few years.)
I didn't really take pictures of the chaos of family Christmas, but I did snap a picture of the most important part....
As the beautiful snow flakes were falling Christmas morning I read the Christmas story to Mama and Daddy. Before all the Kids went home after dinner and presents we lit some candles and sang to the King. God, thank you for the best gift EVER!
You could have swept in like a tidal wave, but instead you came like this:

I want to hear about your Christmas too!

Blogging my Battles and Blessings,
