Cue the Choir-Tis' the Season!

Hello there! The past few days have been pretty busy! Sunday morning my church had the Christmas Cantata, which just warmed my heart! It was full of praise for Jesus! It's HIS birthday! It's HIS birthday! Who is excited?! ME ME ME! He is so worth celebrating! Something I noticed on Sunday during our Christmas story sunday school lesson was that in Matthew 1, King Herod is wigging out because he sees Jesus as a direct threat to his throne...he knew a king was coming but he didn't understand in what sense...likewise, later in the new testament, the disciples had a hard time grasping the concept of Christ's humility when they  supposed him to be King...oh, he surpassed all these notions! Yes, he was born in the most humble way and hung on a cross instead of sat on a throne...He rules eternally and one day he will return royally!

Sunday night the youth put on their annual Christmas production and I sat idian style on floor in front of the stage for two hours feeding them their lines they a.) didn't study hard enough or b.) were too nervous to remember...all in all, they pulled off a great show! The run through alway makes me nervous but the actual performance is always grand! It's funny. One second I am asking myself if I really believe that I can handle that age group...do I have the patience at all? The next I receive somekind of encouragement, usually in the form of respect, that confirms my desires. At least I know that this an area that God is going to work...I was in first Kings today where Solomon prays for wisdom in leading and "[i]t pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. And God said to him, Because youhave not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked fr yourself undrstanding to discern what is right, behold I now do according to your word." -1 Kings 3:10-12 I may not rule a nation, but I will be queen of a classroom one day...this is my prayer.

Today I broke down the stage from the play with Shauna, brother Ron, Jordon, and Aaron...decided that this process counted as my exercise for the day and ate Wendy's with the crew! :)

Tonight I went to dinner and the zoo lights with Jonathan's family! Great fun! 

As for my Battles: I am without a phone because apparently when I am at home and not being a big girl I beome irresponsible...Somewhere between the play, dinner at Zaxby's and my house I lost the dern thing! Yes, I back tracked.  Nothing :( It super, super stinks! Wish it would show up.

I am feeling like I maybe getting ill...my temp. keeps changing...One minute I am sweating like I just ran 10 miles the next I am freezing with the chills! NOOOOOOO I must be well for the best day of the year!

My attitude has been perpetually smelly! I don't know what it is but I just keep getting annoyed with people and senstive too...I hate moodswinging! Dear Jesus, adjust ASAP!
