He made reservations at a nice steak house here in Cleveland and spent entirely too much money on an amazing dinner! I had stuffed Mhai Mhai but by the end of the dinner the Mhai Mhai had stuffed me!
Yesterday I told you about my new love for antiques! Here are a few things I was Loving so much this weekend I had to make them my treasures!
I know! It's BEAUTIFUL! It will look even better when a certain man hangs the darn thing from the ceiling. I am going to start collecting bird cages. I realize you're probably thinking: what is this girl not collecting? I have accepted that my future home is going to be a little ecclectic, but that's okay! I like what I like, you know! Why not have a theme for every room! I want log cabin-ish living room, cafe style kitchen, gothic/17th century library, and hopefully the porch or sun room is where the bird cages come in...How peaceful would it be to have a few hanging cages along with some windchimes?
Yes, I LOVE birds! One of my Besties, Amber Grace commented the other day, "You are so easy to buy for!" We decided part of the reason was that she and I are clones, so she just buys what she likes and the other part is when I like something, I LIKE it...I passionately like it, and I share with anyone who will listen the aesthics of whatever it is: the color aqua, card giving, birds, bird cages, penguins, celtic music, literature...
I got these guys free from Kilgore's in Hernando. I think the man observed the same excitement that the lady in the other store I told you about yesterday. I suppose he threw in these freebies since I am purchasing my long awaited hope chest from him!

...I want a ring so badly! I didn't find one yet but I did get a LOVELY bracelet.
Okay, moving from my new treasures- I LOVE a few more things. Like this sunset, for example:
It's been a long road to fondness of the Delta for me, but I have arrived! The one thing I focused on in the beginning of that journey was this! You just can't beat these perpetual beauties! Granted, they are mostly created by the chemicals in the air from all the agriculture, but with that aside it's the perfect ending to a long hard day at school!
And I Love the nice weather this week! I am so over the winter time! I'm tired of having to chip the ice off my car in the mornings! It's just been absolutely tranquil out...It's hard to believe that this was the landscape just last week:
I certainly LOVE this picture though! I am so thankful for the views I get to experience every sunrise and sunset here at my cozy little Delta duplex!

Ah! I am in LOVE with birds right now! So far I have bought three little ceramic ones for my collection! Seems that we share a few new found collections/hobbies! Hope you have a wonderful week!
