Galway Girl at Heart!

Good day, Reader Friends!
and Happy March :)

As you can see, things are changing around here. I have a lot of Irish heritage, if your my real friend, you will pass up the opportunity to make a short/leprechaun joke so I must represent! I hope you like the layout for this month. This month. This season. Hello, spring!!! It's an exciting time and a very busy time as well. I am sorry that I have done so poorly at posting but I think about all you lovely readers often! I find myself thinking I'm going to post today almost everyday but it just gets lost in the chaos! However, I can almost never resist linking up with Jamie for

I am Loving how thoughtful my mama is! I went home this past weekend with a basket full of dirty clothes and this morning, as I was thumbing through the basket for a blouse, yes, I know I should have put up my clothes by now I found a buried treasure.

I LOVE candles, which seems to be another inheritance from my mother. Isn’t she sweet? Mmmm, Vanilla!
Speaking of this weekend and that sweet lady…the next thing I am loving is the St. Patrick’s day gift she gave me this weekend. Yes, a present for St. Patrick’s Day! Besides the fact that my parents spoil me to death, even when I don’t deserve to be, we do presents for the this holiday for other reasons. We are so Irish! My grandmother was entirely Irish, so I love everything green! My favorite meal is corn beef and cabbage and I can’t get enough of Celtic music! So, flash back to my posts on my new obsession with antiques…at the very first shop we went to I found a ring that I fell in love with and coveted shamelessly. It just screamed Irish pride!
I know it’s not St. Patrick’s Day until the seventeenth, but luckily my mother and I share the same curse and blessing in cases like this of impatience.  You should see it sparkle!
I am so sad that my life is so busy that I don’t have time to cook as much as I used to. The milk went bad, so cereal was off the menu this morning. I was forced to use the stove for breakfast. Jess and I loved the spontaneous entree.
Scrambled eggs with cream spinach on a wheat bagel, mmmmm.
The last thing I am loving is my new SSMT verse:
“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.”
Matthew 10: 27-28a
I think it is such a great missional verse!
Well, folks I have mid-terms tomorrow, so I must jump into the abyss! Have a wonderful Wednesday! Love to all!
Blogging my Battles and Blessings,
Amber Marie
