Happy SPRING BREAK! Well, I assume not all of you are on spring break yet, but Happy Spring Break to all of you who are or at least to those of you who are happy to just see the signs of spring popping up here and there!
I am so excited!
I am definitely going to have to do some writing for my Creative Nonfiction workshop over break, but thank God for those snow days earlier this semester, because all the papers I would have to write over break got pushed back! WHAT A BLESSING!

Last night was fun!
It's a sad thing that Jon's birthday always lands on spring break (March 14th) because we are always doing something different, usually in different states, sometimes different parts of the world! Anticipating that the week back is going to be busy with work and school, I decided to take Jon out for an early birthday dinner last night. We went to Texas Road House (it's pretty much his favorite, go figure, steak on your plate and peanut shells on the floor- men!) Honestly, I felt like crud from this darn cold, but we still had a great time, talking and laughing over dinner. I am going to miss him this week! He will be in Florida, visiting his grandparents (I love those sweet people!)
Well, I hope all of you have a lovely weekend! I will try to pop in some this week with a hello from Vegas!
