Happy Birthday Mama!!!
If you somehow didn’t hear around here that today is a special day, then allow me to inform you that one of the most important people in my life has some candles to blow out today!
I can’t tell you how many times I have cried on this woman’s shoulder,
or how many times, we have laughed until our stomachs hurt.
If you are a lady reading this post, maybe you can understand that sometimes it feels like life knocks you on your tail, and you feel like no one in the world cares about the “silly” tears you’re crying. Anyone get that? I have been there so many times in my young life, especially through these college years. It makes my heart hurt, in a really good way, knowing that no matter what I’m going through my mama cares. It blows my mind that I couldn’t do anything to make her not love and accept me. Which leads me to a very important reason this woman is so great: She has a heart, truly like Jesus. Ever since she began a real relationship with our Savior a little over a year ago she has transformed into his image monumentally every single day. She is the most giving, understanding, non-judgmental, child-spirit I know. God bless her!
She usually never asks for anything for her birthday but this year she said if anyone gets her anything, she would like money to give to our missions fund at church. Is that not precious? Speaking of giving, I have a giveaway winner to announce! The winner of the adorable gift tags from 3CreativeSisters on Etsy is…
Shauna Joy
from Life According to Me!
Shauna is one of my real life friends, and I know she will put the tags to go use, because she is giver of the heart!
Congratulations, girl! I will be emailing you soon about receiving your prize!
Feel free to leave my mama birthday wishes here! She’ll see them!
