Welcome to Wednesday at Blue-Eyed Blog, Reader-Friends.
Around here we link up with Jamie on Wednesdays for…
I am loving healthy choices!
Working out daily is tough. If I’m going to squeeze in a work-out I usually have to get up before 6 am. But it’s been worth it.
I also started WW last Friday. Starting it the weekend I went home to my parent’s house was probably not the best decision, since they feed me as if I am starving in the Delta. True, it’s the middle of nowhere, but we have food…FRIED food! (It’s a problem.) I have been doing very well since Monday, however—choosing lots of fruits and veggies! For any of you who are thinking of starting WW or have just started, I suggest to kind of plan out what you want for your meals each week and shop accordingly. Having a plan helps you stick to your diet. If you’re like me, you may have a habit of not knowing what to eat, so you walk around the kitchen aimlessly, while eating until you find something to eat.
I’m loving my plans for the weekend…starting Thursday night!
1. State game with some good friends.
I thought it was going to be impossible to get a ticket to the game Thursday night…but surprise! The skies parted and one dropped from the heavens. Ha, just kidding! But those of you who know how hard it is to get tickets know that it might have well dropped from the clouds! Regardless, I’m excited to see LSU go down!
2. The Air Show with my flyboy.
We are going to see the Blue Angels do their thing in the Memphis skies Saturday. Flying an aircraft is pretty sexy in my book. Every time I’m in a plane or see these machines slicing through the clouds, I think, “wow, my man can do that!” #pride
I’m loving how my house smells as I type this post. (Does the title make sense now?)
I have a new recipe simmering in the crockpot. Take a look…
Chicken Taco Chili. YUM. And it’s WW friendly! Only 5 points. Ready for dinner already this morning to say the least!
Well, let’s hear it; What are you loving today?
